Itinerary

Pre-arrival day – Friday | Drive down from Perth and check into accommodation at Surfpoint Resort, right on the beach at Gnarabup. Go for a swim and then enjoy dinner provided at the Resort at 7pm service time (to allow those to get down from Perth after work).

Day 1 – Saturday

Enjoy a continental breakfast at Surfpoint Resort before heading off the beaten track today you will hike on the fantastic stretch between Moses Rocks and Gracetown (16.25kms).  The Track rises high over several large limestone headlands before flattening out on Willyabrup Beach. A wonderfully constructed staircase then guides walkers up and onto the stunning sea cliffs of Wilyabrup Cliffs, where we’ll provide you with a delicious lunch to have whilst you enjoy the scenic coastline. After passing the cliffs, the track drops back down onto the beach, passing the famous, surfing breaks; Gallows and Guillotines. The coast then turns decidedly rocky as it weaves over picturesque granite boulders and finally into the pretty hamlet of Gracetown. Relax here and enjoy an afternoon dip or a cuppa at local cafe Gracies before we return to the resort for a delicious dinner.

After hiking for the day return to the Resort for a little R n R or enjoy the amaizing Margaret River Region at your own leisure. We will all meet at The Common Bar & Bistro at 7pm for dinner!

Day 2 – Sunday

After breakfast we’ll hit the tracks for an awesome day hiking the highlight stretch of the Cape to Cape Track today, 16km in total, beginning at the Resort and hiking up to the peak of the ridge where you will be greeted with impressive easterly vistas over the Nindup plains. From here you will take the 365 wooden steps down to cross the historic Frank Mouritz Bridge over Boodjidup Brook and onto the stunning Boojidup Beach. From here we will make our way to  and then onto the historic Redgate Beach – a local surfing and fishing favourite. Next is very likely one of the best sections of the Cape to Cape Track; the scenic coastal cliffs at Bob’s Hollow and Contos. what a way to finish your Cape to Cape adventure! We will return back to Surfpoint at approximately 3pm.

After you hike, pack up and head back to the city, refreshed and ready to tackle the new week with plenty of amazing memories and stories to tell!
