Last week, we embarked on an extraordinary mission alongside Inspired Adventures, curating a condensed Cape to Cape experience for 14 passionate ophthalmologists from across Australia and New Zealand. Our primary goal? To rally support and raise crucial funds for RANZCO (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists) and ANZEF (Australian and New Zealand Eye Foundation).
We ignited the spirit of exploration by kicking off the adventure at the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, the starting point of many great journeys on this trail! Over the next four days, these medical legends embarked on an exhilarating journey, tracing the unparalleled beauty of Western Australia’s coastal marvels.
From the rugged limestone clifftops and challenging boulder scrambles to the serene heathlands, pristine sandy shores, and the enchanting embrace of Boranup Forest, our adventurers experienced the diverse and breathtaking landscapes of the Cape to Cape track.
To cap off this unforgettable experience, we treated the group to an evening of indulgence at the charming Red Gate Winery, a hidden gem in the local wine scene. As their trusty guides, we formed deep connections with these remarkable individuals and were humbled by the profound impact ANZEF makes in the world.
