Jenny

Jenny

Born and raised in the deep south of New Zealand, Jenny spent countless hours by the local rivers, fishing for brown trout, and exploring the iconic hiking areas of Fiordland, Milford Sound, and the Catlins. These early experiences sparked her lifelong passion for the environment and laid the foundation for her love of hiking and nature.

After moving to Perth in her late 20s, Jenny quickly immersed herself in the local trails, completing numerous well-known hikes around Perth and the south-west. In 2021, she completed the Cape to Cape Track while raising funds for MNDWA. She has hiked most sections of the Bibbulmun Track and recently conquered the Kepler Track, Greenstone Capels, and Mavora Lakes in New Zealand. Jenny has a particular fondness for the trails around the Stirling Ranges and Porongurups, and describes the Stirling Ranges’ Talyuberlup Peak at sunrise as a hike that’s underrated!

When she’s not on the trails, Jenny spends her time volunteering with the local fire brigade or exploring the hills east of Perth on foot, on her mountain bike, or road bike. With a bucket list full of trails to tackle, Jenny is determined to complete as many as possible, no matter where they are in the world.

Known for her passion, enthusiasm, and sharp eye for photography, Jenny brings a unique energy to everything she does. We’re confident you’ll love her as much as we do!
