Born and raised in the deep south of New Zealand, Jenny spent many hours sitting on the banks of the local rivers fishing for brown trout or wandering around the well-known hiking areas such as Fiordland, Milford Sound and the Catlins. This developed her passion for the environment and the foundation for her love of hiking and nature.
Moving to Perth in her late 20’s Jenny has completed numerous well-known trails in and around Perth and the Southwest. She completed the Cape to Cape earlier this year and recently a number trails in and around the Stirling Ranges and Porongurups. She described Talyuberlup Peak at sunrise as a hike that is well underrated!
Jenny spends her downtime working on restoring old classic cars or is found wandering around the trails in the hills east of Perth. Jenny has a bucket list of completing as many trails as she can, this combined with a vision of completing Everest Base camp in 2025.
