Tour Description
Ignite your senses by experiencing the magic of Kitty’s Gorge during sunset, dusk then darkness!
As the sun goes down you will witness the forest transition from an outstandingly scenic wonderland of things to see to a utopia of sounds and scents.
Join Off The Beaten Track WA as we guide you along the Kitty’s Gorge Trail for 8kms of hiking bliss. We will follow the very scenic Gooralong Brook, past cascades and granite outcrops, through pine plantations and lush jarrah forest to the famous Kitty’s Waterfall. After a short break to admire the light and shadows on the surrounding hills of the valley and a bite to eat, we will enjoy a hike by torchlight back to the start of the trail.
Off The Beaten Track WA provides a trained and experienced Guide/Host for our Hiking Experiences & Adventure Tours. We carry two-way communication devices, a personal location beacon when phone signal is not available and we’re a fully licensed, insured and accredited Western Australian tourism business providing hiking and adventure experiences with a twist!
Tour Terrain & Experience Level
Total hike distance is 8kms, the terrain is quite rocky and uneven but there are no steep ascents/descents. We recommend sturdy shoes with good grip. The trail is achievable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
No-shows and cancellations received within 7 days of tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received 8-14 days prior to the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received over 15 days prior to the tour departure will receive 0% cancellation fee and a full refund minus book/transaction fees.
Customers can transfer their booking to a friend or family member with no penalty but must advise in writing so Off The Beaten Track WA can provide confirmation information to this individual and ensure waivers are completed.
All bookings are made online via Rezdy Stripe or Paypal and are inclusive of GST and will incur a booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation.
If Off The Beaten Track WA cancels a tour you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.

We encourage all hikers to keep a distance of 1.5m away from others and utilise the hand sanitizer available whilst on our hikes. If you are unwell, please stay at home, and we’ll do the same.
