Tour Description
There is something very mysterious about a full moon rising. Witnessing it from the top of Baldwins Bluff as you admire the surrounding valley and it is simply unforgettable.
This rugged 7km return hike kicks off with a 1km ascent up a steep and rocky hill that is sure to get the blood pumping! As you ascend the narrow Karri Hazel lined trail, you will hear the incredibly tranquil sounds of the water flowing down the nearby stream. Once we reach the top of our 150m vertical climb, we have a nice flat 1.3km meander through Jarrah and Marri woodlands until we reach the Baldwins Bluff lookout. Here, you will be in awe of the incredible views of Serpentine Falls and the moon rising above the valley.
Whilst we devour a delicious gourmet spread, Astronomer Rob Hunt from ScubaYorp will take us on a lunar journey as he talks all things moon! This is sure to be a lunar experience to remember!

Tour Terrain & Experience Level
Terrain: Total hike distance is 7kms, the terrain is quite uneven with a steep ascent/descent so sturdy shoes with good grip are a must, the trail is achievable for most people.
What to Bring?
- Camera
- Water
- Head torch and spare batteries
- Warm layers of clothing (it can be very cold up the top of Mt Vincent)
- Personal first aid
- A good attitude and big smile!
Location
Meeting Place: Serpentine Falls, Falls Rd, Serpentine. Please park outside the National Park gates and off the road. Do NOT park inside the gates as they get locked at 5pm. Please arrive 15mins prior to tour departure to ensure a prompt start.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
No-shows and cancellations received within 7 days of tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received 8-14 days prior to the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received over 15 days prior to the tour departure will receive 0% cancellation fee and a full refund minus book/transaction fees.
Customers can transfer their booking to a friend or family member with no penalty but must advise in writing so Off The Beaten Track WA can provide confirmation information to this individual and ensure waivers are completed.
All bookings are made online via Rezdy Stripe or Paypal and are inclusive of GST and will incur a booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation.
If Off The Beaten Track WA cancels a tour you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.
