Pedal your was along the old Eastern Railway in the Perth Hills with Off The Beaten Track WA!
The Railway Reserves Heritage Trail follows the route of the old Eastern Railway. You will pass through quaint Perth Hills communities such as Darlington, Glen Forrest, Parkerville, Mundaring, and Sawyers Valley and discover the individual history, story and character of the settlements that sprung up along the line in the late 1800s.
We’ll pedal our way from Bellevue to Mt Helena, taking our time and tackle the slight incline as a team, stopping to take in the views of John Forrest and the gorgeous Hovea Falls. We’ll kick back and relax at the Mundaring Hotel and recharge on a light lunch before popping our helmets on and riding the nice easy downhill trail back to Bellevue.
With scenic views and numerous historical points of interest along the way, this 41km Perth Hills Pedal & Pub Experience will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and with a full tummy!
Off The Beaten Track WA provide a trained and experienced Lead Guide and Tail Ender for our MTB Tours. We carry two-way communication devices, a personal location beacon when phone signal is not available and we’re a fully licensed, insured and accredited Western Australian tourism business provide hiking and adventure experiences with a twist!
Tour Terrain & Experience Level
Terrain: The terrain is quite gentle as we follow the old railway line. Only slight gentle hills on mostly gravel tracks.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
No-shows and cancellations received within 7 days of tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received 8-14 days prior to the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received over 15 days prior to the tour departure will receive 0% cancellation fee and a full refund minus book/transaction fees.
Customers can transfer their booking to a friend or family member with no penalty but must advise in writing so Off The Beaten Track WA can provide confirmation information to this individual and ensure waivers are completed.
All bookings are made online via Rezdy Stripe or Paypal and are inclusive of GST and will incur a booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation.
If Off The Beaten Track WA cancels a tour you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.
