Tour Description

Graze on 3 courses of local deliciousness as you hike from Boya to Mt Helena along the historic Railway Reserves Heritage Trail with Off The Beaten Track WA!

The Railway Reserves Heritage Trail follows the route of the old Eastern Railway. You will pass through quaint Perth Hills communities such as Darlington, Glen Forrest, Mahogony Creek and Sawyers Valley and discover the individual history, story and character of the settlements that sprung up along the line in the late 1800s. Our first stop will be The Hive Darlington for some tasty sweet treats and a nice warm cuppa tea!

As we make our way from Darlington to Mundaring Hotel for a light lunch and a glass of something delicious, you’ll enjoy beautiful valley views and rolling hills and admire the quaint homesteads along the trail. Our last leg will be a delightful hike from Mundaring to Mt Helena through Sawyers Valley to The Mounties where a gourmet grazing table and a celebratory drink will be waiting for us to devour!

With scenic views and numerous historical points of interest along the way, this 20km Hike & Graze Experience will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and with a full tummy! You can expect amazing views, lots of laughs, historical facts, and delicious local gourmet delights on this hiking food tour along the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail!
