Tour Description
Join us for a delightful 5km hike along the Rocky Pool Walk! This hiking experience takes you on a steep and rocky journey through Kalamunda National Park.
We will guide you through Wandoo, Marri and Jarrah forests past granite outcrops and boulders and down steep and loose rocky hills which can be challenging but a whole lot of fun!
Admiring the views of Piesse Brook whilst taking in a challenging yet rewarding morning hike. We will take a break at Rocky Pools and admire the natural watering hole whilst we enjoy a delicious morning tea. A gentle meander back up the valley will complete our morning off the beaten track!
Off The Beaten Track WA provides a trained and experienced Guide/Host for our Hiking Experiences & Adventure Tours. We carry two-way communication devices, a personal location beacon when phone signal is not available and we’re a fully licensed, insured and accredited Western Australian tourism business providing hiking and adventure experiences with a twist!

The distance is 5km and manageable for beginner hikers with a reasonable level of fitness or intermediate hikers. The terrain has some short sharp hills with loose gravel.

Meeting Place: End of Spring Rd, Kalamunda. Please arrive 15mins before tour departure.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
No-shows and cancellations received within 48 hours of hike departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations received 48hrs – 1 week prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received 1 week + can have a full refund or credit towards another tour. Customers can transfer their booking to a friend or family member with no penalty but must advise in writing so Off The Beaten Track WA can provide confirmation information to this individual and ensure waivers are completed. All bookings are made online via Rezdy Stripe or Paypal and are inclusive of GST and will incur a booking fee. If a customer cancels their booking within the timeframes eligible for a full/part refund a refund/part refund or transfer to another tour/experience will be fulfilled. If Off The Beaten Track WA cancels an event due to inclement weather you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.

COVID_19 Measures
We encourage all hikers to keep a distance of 1.5m away from others and utilise the hand sanitizer available whilst on our hikes. If you are unwell, please stay at home, and we’ll do the same. If the sharing of food is still not deemed safe by this event start date, trail snacks will be provide as an alternative to gourmet morning tea.
