Escape the everyday and discover the best of the Collie River Valley Region on an adventure that blends scenic valley views, flowing rivers, scenic forest trails, local flavour and the kind of feel good moments that stay with you long after the day is done.

Your journey begins at the impressive Wellington Dam, home to the striking Reflections mural, where art, culture and landscape come together on a truly grand scale. Standing before one of the world’s largest dam wall murals is the perfect way to begin a day shaped by connection to place and the natural beauty of the region.

From here, we lace up and hit the stunning Kurliiny Tjenagitj (meaning “come and see” in Noongar language) Trail, a spectacular 9.5km loop within Wellington National Park. Winding through towering jarrah and marri forest, this trail showcases everything that makes Collie special. Expect peaceful bush tracks, granite outcrops, flowing river views and rewarding elevated lookouts across the Collie River Valley. With gentle to moderate undulations, it’s a trail that keeps things interesting while delivering plenty of scenic reward.

Along the way, we’ll pause for a delicious morning tea in nature, giving you time to catch your breath, soak up the surroundings and enjoy those signature OTBT moments of laughter, connection and shared adventure.

As we continue, the trail reveals more of Collie’s rugged charm, from tranquil water glimpses to sweeping forest vistas. It’s the kind of hike that leaves you feeling energised, grounded and grateful you said yes!

Then, just when you think the day couldn’t get any better, we swap hiking boots for relaxed brewery vibes and head to Brugan Brewery. Settle in with a well earned meal and a refreshing craft brew or beverage as we toast an epic day on trail.

Collie Hike, Brews & Views is the perfect mix of movement, scenery, great company and local flavour. Expect stunning landscapes, fresh country air, plenty of smiles and that unbeatable feeling of leaving better than you arrived.
