Together you and your kiddo will wander along the hiking trails, climb through fallen trees, jump over logs, splash in puddles, and discover the beauty and wonder of nature. You’ll be completely immersed in the bushland of Serpentine National Park, your senses will be ignited, your mind clear and focused. A delicious morning tea will be provided for you to enjoy throughout the hike complete with beautiful views and lots of adventure!

You’ll learn about the local flora, fauna and history of Serpentine and Jarrahdale and even pick up some tips and tricks to keep your child engaged when hiking.

Off The Beaten Track WA provide a trained and experienced Lead Guide & Support Guide for our Hiking Experiences & Adventure Tours. We carry two-way communication devices, a personal location beacon when phone signal is not available and we’re a fully licensed, insured and accredited Western Australian tourism business providing hiking and adventure experiences with a twist!

Tour Terrain & Experience Level

Total hike distance is 5kms, the level 3 terrain is uneven with some rocks and fallen trees to navigate There are some gentle ascents and descents on gravel so we recommend sturdy shoes with good grip. The trail is achievable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness but no hiking experience necessary.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

No-shows and cancellations received within 7 days of tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations received 8-14 days prior to the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations received over 15 days prior to the tour departure will receive 0% cancellation fee and a full refund minus book/transaction fees.

Customers can transfer their booking to a friend or family member with no penalty but must advise in writing so Off The Beaten Track WA can provide confirmation information to this individual and ensure waivers are completed.

All bookings are made online via Rezdy Stripe or Paypal and are inclusive of GST and will incur a booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation.

If Off The Beaten Track WA cancels a tour you will be eligible to transfer amounts paid to another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.
