Create special memories with your little one by experiencing a fun filled overnight hiking adventure with Off The Beaten Track WA!
Together you will hike through the Jarrah forest in Mundaring for a short but very sweet 3kms to Ball Creek Campsite. After we set up the tents and your homes for the night, you will learn bush craft and camping skills from our experienced guides. As the sun goes down we will light the campfire* and make our tasty damper to go with our delicious dinner. After dinner, out come the head torches for some possum spotting and a short night hike!
On day two we will leave the heavy packs at camp and head on up the Bibbulmun Track for a short hike to Manns Gully for a short basic survival session with the kids before returning to camp, packing up and heading back through the forest for our return hike.
Taking the next step into overnight hiking can be very rewarding and a lot of fun, especially when you share that experience with your child. It’s important to be prepared and feel confident so you have an awesome experience! This is your chance to give overnight hiking a go with our experienced Off The Beaten Track WA hiking guides who will assist you, educate you and answer any questions you may have.
