Be serenaded by the acoustic tunes of GypsyLou, under the light of the full moon, on Mt Cooke with Off The Beaten Track WA!
You will be guided up the south side of Mt Cooke at sunset and witness the surrounding hills transform from the evening light. Following the Bibbulmun track along the summit we will explore Mt Cooke and the impressive views it offers. Mt Cooke is the highest peak in the Darling Ranges and with 3kms along the main ridge and summit, it offers so much to explore including large sloping granite outcrops, giant boulders, vibrant shrubs and even a hidden cave!
You will feel the warmth in the earth as you sit on the top of Mt Cooke, devour a gourmet spread, relax and enjoy the music of local Perth acoustic duo GypsyLou all whilst watching the beauty of the full moon in the night sky.
Departing from the Mt Cooke Pine Plantation (18km past the Jarrahdale Rd turn off along Albany Hwy), look out for the Off The Beaten Track WA signs to guide you. We will depart promptly at 6pm. Total hike distance is 6kms.
