Experience the stunning views of Piesse Brook, Rocky Pools and the Helena River Valley as we guide you on an 11.5 km hike along some of Perth’s best hiking trails including the Bibbulmun Track before enjoying a two course feast with cider at Core Cider House in the delightful Pickering Brook!
We will meander through lush jarrah forests and wandoo woodlands, past giant granite boulders and admire the sound of cascades as we immerse ourselves in the beauty of Kalamunda National Park. With some steep and rocky ascents and descents throughout our hike, the awe-inspiring views across the valleys will provide a great opportunity for us to stop and catch our breath and admire our beautiful surroundings.
After working up an appetite, we’ll head to the picturesque Core Cider House to enjoy a two course lunch whilst overlooking 40 acres of orchards from the deck. To accompany your grazing experience, you’ll enjoy a glass of Core Cider’s award winning ciders which are sure to delight your senses. If cider isn’t your thing, you are welcome to a glass of wine or a tasty hot coffee.
Wildflower lined trails, lush jarrah forest, rocky pools, reservoirs, ancient granite boulders and breathtaking scenery of the Perth Hills are just some of the features of our 11.5 km hike. This experience will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and bellyful!
Time: 8am – 4pm
Includes: 11.5 km guided hike, return transport from either Baldivis, Cockburn or Kalamunda, morning tea with views, grazing board for entree plus choice of main for lunch at Core Cider House, 1 standard beverage, complimentary use of hiking poles, sunscreen, repellent & access to all hike photographs.
Terrain: Moderate. The terrain features some short sharp ascents up/down the valley. Majority of the route is quite gentle though and achievable with most who can cover a distance of 11.5kms. You will be well supported by two OTBT guides and we offer complimentary hiking poles for anyone that needs a little added support.

OPTION 2: PU from Cockburn Train Station, @ 7:15am | Drop off 4:10pm
OPTION 3: Meet @ Kalamunda Coles car park, opposite Bibbulmun Track Northern Terminus. Corner of Mead St and Railway Rd, Kalamunda. @ 8am | Drop off 3:30pm

What to Bring? 2-3ltrs water, camera, hungry appetite, personal medications/first aid, a good attitude and big smile!
COVID-19 Measures: We encourage all hikers to maintain a distance of 1.5m away from others whilst on our tours, and utilise the hand sanitizer available. If you are unwell, please stay at home, and we’ll do the same.
