Sound Healing is a gentle, yet powerful experience for the mind and body. It is the intentional use of sound to create an environment which becomes a catalyst for healing in the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual aspects of our being. To be healed is simply to become whole and reconnect with your true essence of self.

We invite you to connect with nature and yourself through sacred sounds at this special Off The Beaten Track event!

We will hike through the lush Jarrah and Banksia forest from Sullivan Rock to Mt Vincent and witness the warn afternoon sun filtering through the trees. As we reach the giant granite slopes of Mt Vincent we will enjoy amazing vistas to the West before reaching the peak to take in the impressive views to the East whilst enjoying a relaxing meditation session, followed by delicious gourmet delights at twilight. As we hike back to Sullivan Rock, we will witness the forest transform from twilight to darkness.

Arriving at Sullivan Rock, Sarah from Musical Kite String will guide you through a sound bath session under the stars using a variety of instruments including a WuChung Gong, Earth Bound Drum and Tibetent Singing Bowl. Sarah will also use her amazing voice to sing a chant which means interconnectedness, unconditional love, responsibility and oneness.

Total hike distance is 5kms, the terrain is quite uneven with a steep ascent/descent so sturdy shoes with good grip are a must, the trail is achievable for most people.

Price: $65

Includes: Guided hike, gourmet nibbles, meditation and sound healing session.

Time: 6pm – 10pm

Depart: Sullivan Rock Car park, Albany Hwy, Mt Cooke.

What to Bring? Camera, water, head torch and spare batteries, yoga mat to lay on during sound healing, a good attitude and big smile! It can get cold out there so bring a warm layer too!

  • My first hike with OTBT...it didn't disappoint. Perfect night, amazing guides who were friendly, fun and informative. I have never hiked at night and I felt perfectly safe(despite the spider !). The bush was stunning, the sunset mind blowing, gourmet nibbles delicious, especially at the very top of the mountain!. Stars incredibly bright from up there on such a clear night. I could have stayed forever. Topped off back on Sullivan rock with the healing drums and stunning chants of the Sacred Sounds..Perfect end to a perfect night. Thank you . I'll be back!
  • I've been hiking with OTBT for over 2 years, and every hike is still amazing, and they're all very different. The Sacred Sounds Hike at Sullivan Rock and Mt Vincent last night was unforgettable - we had a beautiful sunset, followed by meditation and gourmet nibbles on top of the mountain, while the bush turned from dusk to dark. Then once back down on Sullivan Rock, we were enchanted by the beat of the drums as we watched the Milky Way in the clear night skies, with light, wispy clouds floating over us. Then just as we were finishing, the moon rose in the east, and Tracy and the gang brought us cups of warm tea. It was a very special way to spend a night.
