Every year, for just a few short months, the Perth Hills transform into a spectacular display of colour. As the Noongar seasons of Djilba and Kambarang unfold, thousands of native wildflowers emerge across the landscape, creating one of the world’s most extraordinary botanical experiences.
Yet so often, we walk straight past them.
Life moves quickly. We’re busy thinking about what’s next, ticking off to-do lists or simply trying to reach the end of the trail. The smallest wonders—the delicate orchids no bigger than a fingernail, the vibrant everlastings, the tiny native bees busily pollinating flower after flower—are easily overlooked.
Our Wildflower Wander Series is an invitation to do the opposite.
Together, we’ll slow the pace, look a little closer and discover the incredible diversity that flourishes beneath our feet each spring. Along the way, you’ll learn about the remarkable plants that call the Perth Hills home, the landscapes that shape them, and the important role they play in supporting our unique ecosystems.
With experienced local guides leading the way, you’ll enjoy relaxed guided hikes, native-inspired morning tea with botanical tea, fascinating conversations, and plenty of time to stop, photograph and admire the ever-changing display of seasonal blooms.
Each of our three Wildflower Wander experiences explores a different corner of the Perth Hills, showcasing unique landscapes, distinct wildflower communities and a fresh perspective on Western Australia’s natural beauty.

Whether you join us for one hike or all three, you’ll experience a different side of spring—one that’s slower, more mindful and full of moments of wonder.
Because sometimes, the most rewarding discoveries aren’t found by walking further.
Because the most extraordinary things in nature aren’t always the biggest. Sometimes they’re the ones we almost walked straight pas
